(Please note: I am currently not accepting new students due to my schedule conflict with my Master's thesis writing. I will be available again in January 2026. However, I wanted to keep my information online, so if you are interested in learning Finnish with me, feel free to contact me again in January when I am graduated.)

I am a Master's student in Finnish language and literature with teacher's pedagogical qualifications and I want to offer private L2 Finnish teaching (Finnish as a foreign language). With me you can practice both written and spoken Finnish depending on your goals. I also offer preparation for both YKI-test and upper secondary school matriculation exam. I have been teaching privately different agegroups, from primary schoolers and upper secondary schoolers to adults, on three different language teaching platforms and in a teaching company called Uplus.

I love to help people and international students to learn my own native language and we can unlock the beauty of Finnish language together! I offer a calm space in which you can grow and improve your Finnish at your own pace.

Please note: If you are a parent who wants me to teach your child, please ask your child to also contact me by themselves if they are old enough, like teenagers. I want to have a chance to talk personally with my new students and have a clear picture on my students' Finnish level (A1-C2) before starting lessons so that there won't be any misconceptions and the lesson I have planned is accurate for their level.
Unfortunately, I don't offer free or discounted trial lessons due to my official teacher's qualifications and academic Finnish backround. This reflects my Master's Degree, university-level Finnish and literature studies and work experience. Thank you for understanding and respecting professional teaching work.
