G'day! My name is Jimmy. I'm from Australia and New Zealand.

I'm offering my services as an English language tutor. I have taught English in Japan to professionals, hobbyists, and school students. I've taught people who know absolutely no English. Communication can be built from the ground up. My philosophy is that language learning should be an exciting journey. I hope to make my lessons enjoyable, as interest is the foundation of learning. I try to meet a student's level and then build upon that.

I can follow a textbook, but I also develop plans based on the personalised needs of the student. I have helped students to pass English-language tests. I also have a background in molecular biology and business, and can assist professionals to speak about these topics in English. I have previously assisted professionals to speak English when doing meetings in international affairs, sales, and medicine.

Lessons are 45 minutes and can be in-person or online. I offer a free 15-minute consultation.
