Hi! I'm Melissa, a private English tutor from New Zealand with 8 years experience teaching students from all over Finland and a Master's degree in English Philology (linguistics branch). I started my English teaching career in Finland but moved back to New Zealand in 2020 where I continue to teach English online.

I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for my students to practice their spoken English to build the confidence to use it at work, on holiday, in zoom meetings... wherever you need it! Although we can delve into grammar if you want to, this is not a place for textbooks -- this is a place for authentic conversational English.
