Thank you for taking the time to look at my listing, and I hope you're having a good day wherever you are. My name is Rickey and I'm a native speaker from the US. I'm a current registered nurse and have tutoring English in Europe for nearly two years. Whether it be simple confidence-boosting conversational courses, or getting deep into the weeds of business jargon, I've been hosting one-on-one classes as well as groups of up to five.

My format is simple. I work best with people who already have a foundation with English, but feel that they need that extra boost to really hone their articulation and command to a razor's edge. I meet my people where they are, and how they want to learn. Some people like to converse over an article they find interesting each week, while some people prefer to discuss their hobbies or vent about their daily lives. In short, as long as it's in English, I'm there for the journey.

Speaking of journeys, I see education and learning as a journey. Books, rubrics and references are great for whom it serves, but I've found great success with my students by approaching each lesson with the understanding that learning is supposed to be fun, engaging and adaptive.

Keeping in mind that first lessons can be stressful, I offer consultations free of charge, up to 30 minutes.
