I offer saxophone lessons for beginners and more experienced saxophonists who want to keep developing their playing.

I like to shape my lessons around the person in front of me. We can work on technique, sound, rhythm, phrasing, improvisation, music theory, classical repertoire, or whatever feels most useful for your goals.

With over a decade of teaching and -recently- coaching experience, a background in classical and improvisational music, and my work as part of the Nordic Saxophone Collective, I try to help each student find a way of playing that feels clear, musical, and personal.

My experience as a sports coach also adds another layer to my teaching. Alongside the musical side, I pay attention to posture, body awareness, breathing, finger coordination, and unnecessary tension, which can help playing feel more natural and sustainable.

The main goal is simple: to help you enjoy the saxophone and keep growing as a musician.

You will need access to a saxophone for regular practice, but I’m happy to help beginners look into rental, second-hand, or library options.

First lesson is free, and you are welcome to try my saxophone during the lesson before deciding whether you want to continue.
