Hi, I’m Tanya, a UK Business English teacher and coach (Cambridge CELTA and Oxford TEFL certified). I have over a decade of experience helping Finnish professionals and adults speak English more clearly, naturally, and confidently in real work situations. Although this advertisement is listed under Helsinki, I am based in the UK and all lessons are taught online via Microsoft Teams.
Many professionals already know English well, but don’t get enough opportunities to use it. Others hesitate in key moments, in meetings, presentations, interviews, or small talk with international colleagues. Research shows people often form an impression in the first few seconds of a conversation. That means small talk and clear communication are not just extras; they are professional skills that help you build trust and connection quickly in global business.
With specialist training in voice and communication, and experience helping people overcome performance anxiety when needed, I support learners in developing an English voice that feels authentic, fluent, and confident. Lessons are focused and efficient, designed to fit a busy professional schedule. Lessons include clear, practical materials to support your progress. Remember: your English doesn’t need to be perfect; it needs to be clear and confident so people understand you and take you seriously.
I work with motivated adults and professionals across Finland and Europe. Many of my learners continue long-term, using lessons for regular practice, skill development, and fluency.

Based in the UK | Teaching online via Microsoft Teams
Lessons are 45 minutes, with prices listed in GBP on my website (from €35/hour). Payment is also possible in euros.
